About the Gallery

Colorful Moroccan art with a bold contemporary soul.

Marock Art creates physical tableaux inspired by Moroccan streets, arches, palms, zellige patterns, and vibrant pop color.

Art that carries Moroccan warmth into modern spaces.

Mehdi Idrissi Qaitouni is an independent artist whose work emerges from a lifelong immersion in Moroccan culture and aesthetics. Growing up surrounded by the intricate details of Moroccan life—the winding streets of Fez, traditional craftsmanship, rich colors, and evocative scents—he developed a visual language rooted in authentic cultural experience. Yet he observed a persistent gap: Morocco's profound heritage rarely found expression in contemporary, refined artistic forms that speak to modern sensibilities.

This realization became the catalyst for Marock Art. Rather than document Morocco as it exists, Mehdi chose to reinterpret it—merging ancestral traditions with contemporary vision. His works transform everyday symbols, iconic scenes, and cultural elements into powerful visual compositions that belong in modern spaces, carrying emotion and memory rather than mere representation.

"I have always felt the need to represent Morocco differently. Not as a simple image, but as an emotion. Each work I create is a way of capturing a memory, an atmosphere, an identity. Marock Art is my way of bringing this culture to life with a new vision, more modern, more personal."

A visual language shaped by Morocco.
